Paul Murphy I love this version of GSH Home but the other tracks on this Digi only (????) EP are a groove too. Tainted Love,with two epic versions in the UK POP Universal past now has a new star in the firmament and I'm thinking that ESE is also a Star in the making too. Favorite track: Home Is Where The Hatred Is.

Montie Davis Heavy echoes of early 70s soul but completely modern as well. There's not a weak song in the bunch. It was tough to choose a favorite, but a Gil Scott-Heron cover always gets extra points from me. Keep the hits coming, Ese. I loved every second. Favorite track: Home Is Where The Hatred Is.

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
